FIGHT LONG AFTER CANCER 

"Survivorship means living life to the fullest and being there  for other people  who have just been diagnosed with cancer."

This is a documentary about Eden Stotsky, a young adult cancer survivor, who discovers through her own cancer survivorship the courage to face a time of great uncertainty regarding her future well-being.

Eden Stotsky was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer on November 12, 1997.

Why do Young Adults need to be aware of the fight against cancer?

 • The incidence of cancer among young adults has been on the rise and the causes of these cancers and the increased incidence are not known.

 • More than 70,000 people each year between the ages of 18–40 are diagnosed with cancer.

 • In the US, one in every seventy persons develops cancer between the ages of twenty and forty.

 • Cancer among the adolescent and young adult population is a significant health problem in the United States.

• Cancer is becoming a chronic disease for many cancer survivors.
