Welcome to the Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon presented by ClearShark, previously named the “Best Women’s Event in the Mid-Atlantic” by Competitor Magazine, and the largest event of its kind in the country. 2016 marks the 11th year of this widely popular, sprint distance race.
This inspirational event is about empowering women toward a healthy lifestyle, and celebrating your unique grace as your journey toward the finish line. You are an Iron Girl!

12:00-1:30pm Join Pros Alyssa Godesky and Emily Sherrard in the Expo Lobby for photos and autographs!
1:30-2:00pm IronGirl Columbia Course Talk at Expo in the Columbia Presbyterian Church in the basement
2:00-3:30pm Pro & Elite Athlete Panel and Q&A with Emily Sherrard, Suzy Serpico, Bec Wassner, and Alyssa Godesky, at IronGirl Expo at Columbia Presbyterian Church in the basement
3:45-4:15pm Shakeout Run with Bec Wassner and Suzy Serpico. Meet at the swim start (boat ramp) in Centennial Park for an easy 10-15 minute jog, stretching and drills and an Athlete Goodie Bag with items from Nuttzo Nut Butters, Thunderbird Bars, ERCEL energy gel, along with a recipe card from Athlete Food. 4:30-5:15pm Transition clinic with Suzy Serpico at the swim start (boat ramp) in Centennial Park
All 4 Athletes will be present throughout the day to cheer you on!
