About the Ride Across Maryland
Departing from Columbia, MD and arriving at the Francis Scott Key Family Resort in Ocean City, the Ride Across Maryland is an annual gathering that unites bikers from across the Mid-Atlantic to raise money and awareness for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. Ride Across Maryland Weekend features a 150-mile ride, including an escort over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and continues through the back roads of the Eastern Shore of Maryland with alternate route options, poker runs and more. Upon arrival in Ocean City, riders, friends and family will gather at the Francis Scott Key Resort for the evening’s festivities which celebrate the ride’s fundraising efforts, and honor and remember those who have fought or are fighting cancer.
Now in its sixteenth year, the Ride Across Maryland has raised over $2.5 million for cancer-related causes. Funds raised by the Ride Across Maryland directly fund vital programs at the Ulman Cancer Fund, including an annual scholarship, awarded to a young adult breast cancer survivor or young adult impacted by the breast cancer diagnosis of a parent or sibling.
