Team Fight’s Iron Girl Training Team is an exclusive 12-week training experience for both beginner & seasoned triathletes that are preparing for the Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon on August 20, 2017. Help make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer and become a part of the official training team of the Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon!

Iron Girl Training Team Registration NOW OPEN!

The 2017 training season will be held between May 30th – August 20th.  Each member must commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 to help the Ulman Cancer Fund provide free support services and resources to the young adult cancer community.

Program benefits include:

  • 3 weekly evening workouts (swim, run & bike) led by Team Fight coaches

  • Mini-Tri Camp

  • Team Fight gear, including in-training t-shirt, tri-kit top & bottom, and water bottle

  • Free race registration for the Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon on August 20, 2017

  • Race weekend experience, including pre-race Team luncheon, race-day support and access to Team Fight tent

Race Registration

Every member of the Team Fight Iron Girl Training Team will receive a free entry into the 2017 Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon on August 20, 2017.

*Already registered for the Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon? Join Team Fight’s Iron Girl Training Team & your registration fee will be deducted from your fundraising commitment.

All members of the Team Fight Iron Girl Training Team have the opportunity to participate in any of the following free training opportunities:

“In Training” & Race Day Gear

All Iron Girl Training Team members will receive:

  • Training technical t-shirt

  • Race day Triathlon top & bottom (Tri-Kit)

  • Team Fight water bottle

Race Weekend Experience

  • Pre-race team luncheon, held the Saturday before race day

  • Exclusive Team Fight Iron Girl Training Team swim wave on race day

  • Access to the Team Fight tent on race day

Minimum Fundraising Requirement

Each member of the Team Fight Iron Girl Training Team must commit to a minimum fundraising amount of $1,000 that will help the Ulman Cancer Fund provide free support services and resources to the young adult cancer community. Specifically, the funds raised by each member of the Team Fight Iron Girl Training Team provides dozens of college scholarships, the nationwide Cancer to 5K fitness program for survivors, patient navigation services, and life-changing engagement programs to survivors and their loved ones across the United States.

After receiving your registration, a Team Fight representative will help you set up your personal fundraising page and will send you a guide to help you become a successful fundraiser. Share your personal connection to the fight against cancer as you share the page with your network of friends and family, or host events in your community to help raise funds to meet your goal!

Fundraising Checkpoints

By registering for the Iron Girl Training Team, you are committing to fulfill the $1,000 minimum fundraising requirement. If you do not reach your fundraising requirement by August 19, 2017, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults is authorized to charge your credit card for the remaining balance.

50% Checkpoint – participants will receive a training technical t-shirt & race day Tri-Kit once at least half of their minimum fundraising commitment has been met.

100% Checkpoint – participants must have 100% of their funds turned in by race day or their credit card will be charged for the remaining balance.

Medical Condition, Injury or Military Deployment

If you are not able to participate due to a medical condition, injury, or military deployment, we require that you still fundraise 25% of your minimum fundraising commitment (i.e. $250). You must also provide documentation supporting withdrawal from either a medical professional or military supervisor.

No withdrawals will be accepted once race registration is complete.
