With open enrollment for health insurance just around the corner, it is an important reminder that everyone facing cancer be able to have access to treatment. Historically, research has shown that young adults have the highest rate of uninsured of any age group. With the Affordable Care Act, young adults can remain on their parents’ health insurance through the age of 26. Open enrollment for health insurance begins November 15th and spans through March 31st.
